Smoked Salmon & Spaghetti

Easy to make, but expensive to buy, salmon and pasta is a great treat after a long day. I had never cooked salmon before so I opted for pre-cooked smoked salmon from Tesco. This dish can be made in less than 10 minutes! Here is what you need:

Smoked salmon
Pasta (I used spaghetti)
Double cream
Parmesan cheese
Pepper

Step 1: Add pasta to a pan of boiling water with some oil and salt. Stirring occasionally. Should take between 5 and 10 minutes depending on the pasta you use.

Step 2: Grate the cheese and chop up the salmon. Add the cheese and double cream to a pan at a low heat.

Step 3: Stir the cream and cheese until they have formed a smooth sauce, then add the salmon and some pepper.

Step 4: When everything is ready drain the pasta and put it all into a dish. Then dig in!

Quick and easy to make in under 10 minutes. Great when you’re in a rush, but still want a delicious meal.

Spaghetti Bolognese

Since discovering the price of mince I have not had spag bol at University and settled for quorn. However I feel like I lost the point a bit by using a meat substitute by adding my favorite ingredient… BACON!

This time i forked out £3 and bought some mince. I also divided the mince into two so I could make two lots of bolognese. So this is my make shift – no instructions- spag bol from sctrach.

Banana & and Chocolate Chip Muffins

I came downstairs today to my mum asking if I would make banana muffins with the three old saggy bananas we had in the kitchen. Me being the perfect teenage daughter that I am I accepted thinking we would be making them together. Then she said… “Well actually i’m going to go and do some work, but I would like you to make some.”

So here I am thinking great… I have never made banana muffins before, and every time I bake anything it does tend to go disastrously wrong. But armed with a easy banana muffin recipe from the internet I have given it my best shot. What could go wrong right?
