Tuna Pasta Bake – Simple Affordable and reheat-able!

I actually forgot to take any of my own photos for this dish, I guess I was just too excited. Tuna pasta bake is the first thing my mother taught me to make successfully and when im cooking it my university house mates get jealous of the delicious smell. But this is NOT a hard recipe, and this is NOT and expensive recipe. It isn’t even overly messy or time consuming. It is PERFECT.

Ingredients:
(use however much of each as you wish)
-Pasta: half a pack is usually enough for too servings.
-Cheddar cheese
-Tuna: half a can per person
-Mayonnaise

Recipe:

Step 1: Boil water in a pan and add the pasta with a pinch of salt and some oil to stop the pasta from sticking. Stir through to make sure the pasta does not stick. The pasta should cook within 10 minutes.

Step 2: Grate the cheese and open the tin of tuna. Drain if needed. You can do this while the pasta in boiling.

Step 3: When the pasta is ready drain and put into an oven tin. Add the tuna, cheese, and mayonnaise. Stir the ingredients together and if you like a crispy finish grate more cheese over the top.

Step 4: Cook in the oven at a high heat. I think I used 200. Leave for about 20 minutes depending on how well cooked you like it.

Sadly the above photo is not my own, however when I next make a tuna pasta bake I will add the photos. Mine did look a lot like this though, and tasted delicious. Onions are another thing that work well and bring out good flavors. I made enough for two servings and put have in a microwavable box for later. If you do the same then adding some extra mayo when reheating in the microwave or on the hob is a good extra.
